It was 30 degrees and sunny today, so I decided to use my new mittens. The leather is soft, with short straight sheep hairs. After 1 mile of walking I had to take them off because my hands were super warm. The fit was loose, but I like to put my thumb with my other fingers if it is super cold outside. So far I do like the mittens. They were not what I was expecting. My old Sheepskin were from New Zealand. The leather was thick with soft very wavy wool fur inside. So if you are looking for those then the Turkish goats are not for you. However, it is nice with a softer, more moveable mitten. You might want to try them.

The mittens are beautiful but the women’s Large fits more like a Medium. I am waiting for a return notification so I can exchange them for a men’s Large.
These mittens are beautifully made. I bought a pair in black. I tried them out on a 35 F. morning walk. They are not warm enough. They will definitely not be warm enough for a winter in MN when it can get to -20F or worse. The shearling is simply not thick enough by comparison to mitts that I once owned, which were made in Canada. Nonetheless, I will keep them to wear on casual errands.
These are beautiful gloves, but they seem to run a bit on the small side. We ordered the medium for my wife--we used the size chart and she is a small woman at 110 pounds. The medium was too small. We exchanged them for a large, which is still a bit snug, but should stretch out over time. The customer service was excellent throughout that process.
I have tried several sheepskin leather for mittens from well known brands. These by far are superior. They are luxury!! I have a larger hand so I bought the size large. They were perfect for a woman's hand.
These mittens are for my Mom who needed to replace a very old pair that had finally worn out. She is thrilled to get these. The quality is great and the fast delivery was a p;us.
